DEPUTY SALES MANAGER

Report system:

     - Upward: Report directly to Manager or/and General Director

     - Horizontal: Coordinate with managers of other departments for business development and client service

     - Downward: Manage and direct all members in Marketing Dept to achieve budget in new, renewal and expanded meanwhile prevent loss business

Education:

     - Degree: University graduating with the relevant majors (e.g.: trading, marketing, construction, machinery, fire & explosion, cargo import and export, law…)

     - Foreign language: good listening, speaking, writing reading in English.

     - Knowing Chinese is an advantage.

     - The other diplomas and certificates (if any): no requirement

     - Understand and comply with the law.

Experience:

     Have at least 5 years’ experience in insurance, marketing or sales, including 3 years at the management position

Skills:

     - Good management and organization skill

     - Good presentation and selling skills

     - Good communication and negotiation skills

     - Good computer skills (pass the examination required by the Company on typing speed, document presentation in Word, Excel, Power Point)

     - Ability to work independently as well as in team work

     - Dynamic, enthusiasm and willing to work under high pressure

Function and Responsibility:

  1.  Management:

     - Prepare reports, attend meetings or receive assignments at periodical or unscheduled request of General Director.

     - Work closely with Underwriting Dept. to project the yearly budgets and long term forecast as well

     - Work closely with planning department to prepare sales and marketing strategy

     - Formulate and facilitate all sales/marketing process

     - Lead and train sales force for HQ, Branch, Representative Office and Transaction Office

     - Coordinate between headquarter and branches

     - Monitor, review and report on all business/sales activity and business results

     - Analyze the performance of the marketing teams including the claims and expenses incurred

     - Attend training programs, seminars and workshops for personnel development relating to business development and client service

     - Implement job and duty according to laws, company charter and internal regulations

   2. Business development:

     - Coordinate with Planning Dept. to design the innovative commercial product to meet Clients needs in different segments and initiate the products promotion accordingly

     - Oversee all aspects of marketing activities, ensuring the overall revenue of the company achieve the monthly and yearly budgets

     - Analyze the reasons of lost business and coordinate all resources to win back in next renewal

     - Coordinate all resources to support marketing staffs for expanding and servicing sizable clients

   3. Clients’ Service:

     - To make sure all clients are properly attended & all their enquiries are answered appropriately.

     - To supply market information to prospective and existing clients and to strengthen their knowledge about the necessity of insurance as well as the types of insurance which are required for their operation

     - Other tasks: Other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor and Board of Leader
